Bulk update feature - Test cases

Importing test cases - can we “re-import” test cases to make updates? For example, if there were a global change to our system that affected 50 test cases - can I Export the group - make the update (like adding steps/information) - and re-import (with the same TC number) without the system creating “new” ones? Basically - an “Bulk Update” feature
